Boys of Brayshaw High by Meagan BrandyRaven isn’t your typical teenage girl. She is put into a group home for troubled girls in a new city. When she arrives at her new school, ruled by a group of boys (high school style), she doesn’t “follow” them like all the other students do. She stands out because she stands up against them. She seems to not really care about the semi-bullshit of dealing with high school. Quickly, the Brayshaw boys (Maddoc, Royce and Captain) take offense. Because of this, other students begin bullying her. I feel like there is so much more to it than this, but honestly I just want you to read this story.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. This book! Okay, let’s start by saying, if I know a book has a cliffy, I will often wait for the whole series to come out. For some reason, I didn’t for this book. I am both so incredibly happy I didn’t wait to read it but also wish I had so I could move right onto Book Two. This book is AMAZING. Raven is a badass heroine and although Maddoc seriously has his moments where I want to smack him, I honestly love him so much. BOBH brought up every emotion I had at one point or another and kept me completely captivated. The writing is fantastic and entertaining. There wasn’t a moment that I wasn’t devouring the story. This is the definition of a page turner. I needed to know what happened next. I will also state that this is the first I have read from this author and instantly upon finishing downloaded her other books. That cabin scene is fire! When you read it you will know what I mean. After reading this story, I want to go back and reread it because I know I missed some fantastic hints about what could be coming for book two.
