Vow Of Devotion by Emma RenshawAva is a single mom who moves from San Antonio to Austin to start her new job as a teacher. She doesn’t give her trust easily. This is largely due to growing up with her mother having playboy after playboy coming in and out of their lives. She is determined to raise her own daughter differently. Hudson is about to start his first lead work project and has always been the clown of the group who people don’t take seriously. He meets Ava and falls instantly. He is then framed for crimes he didn’t commit and they have a race against time to figure out what is going on.

I completely devoured this book! I have been waiting for Hudson’s story and it did not disappoint. The writing was captivating and I absolutely love the relationship development between Hudson and Ava. Hudson is a lovable goof who is out to prove he can do his job properly at his family’s construction company and that he is ready to settle down and have a relationship. This book had me laughing and so in love with the characters and their development and growth. I immediately disliked the weasel, knowing he was definitely there to cause trouble. I will say I thought the trouble he would cause would be slightly different but it was way worse than what he did. (When you read it you will know who I am referring to). It is beautifully written. I can’t wait for more books from Emma Renshaw.
